Trinity Cafe is an intentional community.
‘Faces of Trinity Cafe’ is a celebration of all that embodies that community.
Every person who walks through the doors at Trinity Cafe has a unique story of their own.
My friend Nina mentioned Trinity Cafe to our group of friends. I came for the first time a couple months ago with my friend Leann.
My first experience was kind of a crazy one. A guest wanted water and I accidentally gave him tea. He yelled at me and ran out, but I understand what it’s like to come inside after being hot with no food in your system.
In the past month I’ve volunteered every week at both locations. I like the piano man at Busch. He adds such a cool aesthetic. Today I brought my friend and last week I brought my grandma.
I was put here to serve. I want to go to school to be a teacher and eventually move to Vietnam and teach in Hanoi.
Selflessness and benevolence are our number one superpowers in this world. An hour a week to volunteer is nothing. It goes by so fast. Everyone has a little to give. A smile, a good convo and an equally awesome 3 course meal for the hungry and homeless…a volunteering opportunity full of enrichment.
We’re all puzzle pieces. We all form together; if one person or if one thing is missing, it kind of distorts the picture.
We all make up this world. It takes all of us and we need to give each other dignity and self-worth. A lot of people lose touch with the world and I want to be a part of bring that touch back.
